Service Description

Kennys Global Links deliver projects for both children and young people. As a qualified Children and Youth Worker, our projects aims to engage children and young people between the ages 5-16 years with a wide range of exciting and enriching activities including nutritional education. Such as: 1) Physical Activities – Various games and competition at the centre. Also, we embark on healthy walk and sports competition at the nearest park, such as, Hockey, Football, Running, Skipping. Also, we go on day trip to new destinations which are child-led. 2) Creative Arts and Craft - The children are provided with opportunity to try various arts and crafts including learning new skills such as Jewellery making; Sustainable fashion. 3) Healthy nutritious hot food – Healthy hot food would be provided daily in partnership with relevant organisations. Kennys Global Links has partnered with other organisation in the past to deliver a successful holiday activities and youth clubs (including other project in the community), example the HAF project. In summer 2021 and both Summer and Christmas 2022, Kennys Global links partnered with Ensemble Manchester and Chrysalis Manchester respectively to deliver the HAF holiday programme. We also support them with homework club.
